Hot & Cold Stone Reflexology
How Can It Help You?
As well as the all of the benefits of Reflexology and Aromaflex already mentioned I am offering this as a luxurious extra. Psychologically hot stones are soothing, comforting and give feelings of security and safety, whilst releasing tension and anxiety. Cold stones have a refreshing and invigorating action on the body. They can act as an analgesic, 'numbing' pain and reducing inflammation by checking the flow of blood.

What Is Hot & Cold Stone Reflexology?
Based on the ancient practise of thermatherapy, basalt stones are incorporated into a reflexology treatment. The large stones may be utilised to warm and massage the legs and feet, and smaller stones to work reflex points and target more specific areas. The treatment is extremely relaxing and feels wonderful. The heat from the stones penetrates to a deeper level and can reach up to 7-8cm into the superficial layer of muscle: bringing about physiological changes as well as influencing the body's internal energy flow (Chi) Cool stones may be utilised within treatments to support clients with muscle injuries or inflammation.
